Dual, air-cooled, Peltier-control for the Perkin Elmer LAMBDA 650, 750, 850, 950 and 1050 UV/Vis/NIR SpectrophotometersThe qX2x2/PE1050 is a pair of cuvette holders providing independent Peltier temperature control for both the sample and reference cuvettes in the Perkin Elmer LAMBDA 650, 750, 850, 950 or 1050 UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometers. One cuvette holder is mounted in the sample beam of the spectrophotometer and the other in the reference beam. Utilities are threaded through the floor below each cuvette holder. Use the qX2x2/PE1050 to set and maintain precise sample and reference temperatures, and stir at steady reproducible rates, while bathing the cuvettes in a controlled gaseous environment. Although dependent on rapid, precise Peltier technology, no circulating water is required for normal operation from 0 °C to 110 °C. Purchase the low temperature option, consisting of a windowed vest and capability for liquid cooling, and operate the qX2x2/PE1050 from 0 °C down to -30 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the qX2x2/PE1050, using the TC 1B/Dual Temperature Controller included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
