Product Overview

The qX2/8453 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder with two optical ports for use in the open sample compartment of your 8453 Diode Array System. Set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment.

Although dependent on rapid, precise Peltier technology, no circulating water is required for normal operation from 0 °C to 110 °C. Purchase the low temperature option, consisting of a windowed vest and capability for liquid cooling, and operate the qX2/8453 from 0 °C down to -40 °C. Purchase the extended temperature to extend operation a little below -40 °C or above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control using the TC 1B Temperature Controller, included in the purchase price. For additional control and temperature monitoring, use Quantum Northwest’s computer control software, T-App, available for purchase.
