Luma 40/SLM
Peltier-based temperature-controlled cuvette holder for an SLM-8000 or SLM-8100 SpectrofluorometerThe Luma 40/SLM is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder that is used for the rebuilding of the venerable old SLM 8000 or 8001 Fluorimeters. Use the Luma 40/SLM for normal temperature ranges of -15 °C to +105 °C. Add a Windowed Jacket, purge with dry gas and run the temperature down to at least -40 °C. Purchase the extended temperature option and extend the range up to +150 °C. Fluorescence is sensitive to temperature and reliable measurements require the precise temperature control of the Luma 40/SLM. A properly rebuilt SLM fluorimeter should have full control of the functions of the TC 1/Single Temperature Controller.
