Brr 20/UV1280

The Brr 20/UV1280 is a temperature-controlled cuvette holder for the range of +110 °C down to -55 °C. It is designed for use in Shimadzu’s single beam UV-1280 spectrophotometer. The Brr 20/UV1280 replaces the sample tray (base and front panel) of the spectrophotometer, with utilities brought conveniently to the front panel. Use the Brr 20/UV1280 to set and maintain precise sample temperatures and stir at a steady reproducible rate, while bathing the cuvette in a controlled gaseous environment. This product is provided with a windowed vest to enhance performance at low temperatures and minimize condensation that may form on the windows. Circulating water is used to remove heat from the Peltier heat exchanger. Purchase the extended temperature option to extend operation above 110 °C to 150 °C. Control the Brr 20/UV1280, using the TC 1B Temperature Controller included in the purchase price.
