Windowed Jackets
The windowed jackets are cuvette holder covers machined from a block of black Delrin plastic. They create a dead air space around the holder that may be purged with dry gas. This provides thermal insulation for work at temperature extremes and greatly minimizes condensation when working at low temperatures. Light enters and exits through fused silica windows. The windows are broadband AR coated for the ultraviolet, providing low reflectivity from about 240 to 450 nm. Other window materials or coatings can be supplied on special request. We are also pleased to provide modified covers for special needs.
WJ-40 for the TLC 40 or TLC 42 has two 25 mm diameter, 2 mm thick windows on opposite sides.
WJ-50 for the TLC 50 has four 25 mm diameter, 2 mm thick windows, one on each side.
WJ-300 for the FLASH 300 has two 25 mm diameter, 2 mm thick windows on the large flat sides and two 12.5 mm square windows on the narrow sides to permit passage of collimated beams. |
